"A kind of retro diner that’s too classy to be defined as Fifties, this place has amazing chocolate cream pie and banana cream pie. Before that, enjoy a choice of five burgers or sandwiches. Try the hickory with cheese. You’ll get some great service here too. The service here is quick and on top of everything which is evidenced when a fork may be replaced with a spoon when it’s apparent that the dish is too runny. Your iced tea will be topped up if required without having to ask as well. Never without an empty seat, you have to order quick as just like an old-school diner, the people at Apple Pan are trying to move as many people in and out as possible. Still, this famous eatery has been around for eight decades, and with great service and always great food, it’ll be around for another eight."
