"The attention to detail given over to the food here, given the very reasonable prices, is exceptional. Presentation and aesthetics are not paramount, but they’re as equally impressive as the taste. The almost sepia toned bistro décor and atmosphere are fantastic. Great dishes include the cod balls. They know how to do seafood here. Any of the savory tarts that are pizza like and of high quality are good too. In fact, the Alsatian tarts typify the venue – a mix of high class cuisine in a standard setting. The mac and cheese is terrific. An oxtail and pig cake-like dish with lentils is divine. Ambiance is very casual for such a high class venue – even bar like.
