As a hotel restaurant you might not expect that Fig would have a 50% menu from 5p-6p Tuesdays to Saturday. But the beautiful thing about Fig is that it is unlike other hotel restaurants and this makes it a must try. The restaurant is set on the Santa Monica waterfront that gives you a leisurely feel as if you were in Hawaii. There's also a small bar and indoor and outdoor seating. Half off menus include the drinks so the bartenders are busy whipping up cocktails to your delight. A few things from the menu stand out including the stuffed honey dates, seared scallops, and the pastaless lasagna. One dish that can't be missed is the schnitzel as it is perfectly lean and delicious.
