Honda Ya is a really good place to have some beer, saki and Japanese BBQ. As an izakaya, the restaurant provides a relaxed environment great for drinking with friends and catching up.The pork belly, bacon wrapped tomatoes, cartilage, bacon wrapped enoki, beef tongue, special heart, peppers, orkra, fried garlic, and shrimp tempura are all fantastic and best enjoyed on the tatami mats. Also, the chicken skin, kobe beef, albacore tataki, are all dishes not to be missed. Overall, a very enjoyable izakaya style restaurant in the heart of Downtown LA.
