Privy 5 Overview
Vegetable heavy dishes here. Not least the pan cake with beef, which is rich in sauce and vegetables. The noodles here are nice because they’re different. Hand cut to perfection. The dumplings are great – a thin chewy skin, rather than doughy. A nice dark vinegar sauce to accompany things gives a more authentic feel to the dumplings. A seaweed and pork house special soup is a real treat. Tinged with ginger that’s not overwhelming, it’s well worth a try. The soup noodles and noodles found in other dishes differ, but both are great. One more fabulous thing about the food served here is none of it is too greasy or oily (including the dumplings). Jalapeno stir fry dishes are also on offer for those who like a bit of fusion cuisine.
