Simple and straight forward, the pizzas are about more than just putting different toppings on the same crust and base. They serve their pizzas perfectly with just a slight hint of char. The sausage and fresh mozzarella pizza is great. The mushroom and veggie pizza is delicious too. The cheese taste on some pizzas is very cheesy, which is what makes it so great. The dough is perfect, arguably the best in the city. As with any thin crust pizza, you'll want to sit there and eat it right away. After you've filled up, you can browse the walls of the restaurant and see photos of all the celebrities who have flocked to Lamonica's to enjoy a slice. Service is extremely friendly which seems to betray their New York style. "
