Yet, while most places in LA that attract celebrities are over-hyped restaurants, Madeo manages to remain one of the standard bearers for Italian food in LA. A trip to this intimate restaurant is pricey but well worth every cent as the food will cause you to forever raise your standards when it comes to Italian food. The kamikaze martinis are excellent and are the right cocktails to go with your pizza margherita that is presented beautifully and tastes as good as it looks.
