"This place is fusion in so far as the cuisine is creatively delicious while retaining central elements of Japanese sushi. You may find things such as a mushroom risotto here that you may not expect at a sushi bar. Everything on the menu is great, and for a full appreciation, you can check out the chef’s sampler. The fish itself is tender when called for and the food crunchy when expected. The sauces are fantastic. Sashimi, mirugai, awabi, kampachi, shima aji, and both albacore- and hamachi-toro are some of the range available. Kobe beef is natch on offer too. It’s a high class joint but you don’t have to wear your evening gown. Nicely informal atmosphere. Appetizers include a fried seafood spring roll, enhanced with grapefruit and jalapeno."
