Nishimura is home to some of the best sushi chefs in LA and with that comes a hefty price tag for lunch or dinner. But, like most things, you do indeed get what you pay for and in this case a lighter wallet means extraordinarily good sushi. Generally letting the chef prepare you an omakase meal is the way to go as it consists primarily of sashimi as opposed to other sushi restaurants that are heavy on the sushi and scrimp when it comes to the sashimi. However, if you're ordering you certainly do not want to miss the seared toro with white truffle salt and yuzu which is absolutely divine. The toro used is fresh, fatty, and roll your eyes to the back of your head delicious. If you don't mind the price, Nishimura is an absolute must for sushi.
