Privy 5 Los Angeles Robin Shou
Actor, Martial Artist
Robin Shou exploded onto the martial arts action scene and after appearing in over 30 Hong Kong films and always performing his own stunts, he landed the breakout role of a lifetime as "Liu Kang" in the "Mortal Kombat" films, adapted from the hugely popular video game series. It was the tremendous box-office success that brought Robin Shou to the forefront of Hollywood films. His success led to another martial arts role, playing Chris Farley’s brother in the comedy “Beverly Hills Ninja.” After a string of number one movies and TV shows, Shou found his calling behind the camera and made his directorial debut in the critically acclaimed documentary “Red Trousers: The Life of The Hong Kong Stuntman”. It even received the "Outstanding Achievement in Film Making" Award at the Newport Beach film festival. Having proved his versatility as a writer and director, Shou reunited with director Paul W.S. Anderson in Universal Pictures’ “Deathrace,” co-staring with Jason Stathem. He has since trained Milla Jovovich for the “Resident Evil” franchise as well as starred in numerous box office hits. Read on for the Robin Shou Privy 5.
