Privy 5 Overview

If you have a thing for garlic and can't get enough of it in your food then the aptly named the Stinking Rose is the restaurant for you. The restaurant's decor is an exercise in extravagant interior design with bold colors lending to the dramatic atmosphere. These hues make up the rose portion of the restaurant and the food definitely contributes to the stinking part. But that doesn't mean the food is bad at all, it is quite the contrary. The garlic rolls they serve you before your food are delicious by themselves or with the garlic olive oil. The calamari with the minced garlic marinara sauce is delicious as are the boneless ribs with garlic mashed potatoes and the rabbit with mashed potatoes. However, you absolutely cannot miss the delicious Gilroy's Famous Garlic Ice-Cream. It comes with a caramel mole sauce on top and just the right amount of a faint garlic taste. Overall, a great time to be had at the Stinking Rose.
