If you're looking for classic LA-style Mexican food, look no further than Talpa Restaurant right next door the the ever popular Don Antonio's. While many wander into Talpa because the wait at Don Antonio's is absurd, many soon find that the cuisine offered at Talpa is as good if not better than its neighboring restaurant. Everything is Mexican on the menu, with the exception – one may argue – of the Caesar Salad, a steak dish or two, and the burger sandwiches. Southwestern style and ranch style dishes feature. Great service at any time of the day. Both breakfast and talpa meals here are served with rice, beans and tortillas. Corn or flour tortillas may be ordered as sides. The bartenders are great and you get a fantastic Mexican dining experience.
