Privy 5 Overview

The title suggests bawdy masculinity, perhaps. Men talking big business about big stakes over big steaks in an old fashioned New York steakhouse. But you’re sure to find a hearty meal here, regardless of gender and the room has character that makes for the ideal business lunch setting. It’s actually a very classy and elegant dining environment where the staff are always more than accommodating dressed in white pristine coats and refer to you as "sir" or "madam." As the name suggests, this place knows how to cook a steak.  The New York and prime rib are excellent with a filet mignon that is incredibly tender. The bordelaise sauce is so good that you'll want to slather it on everything. If it's business lunch you're partaking in and you don't want meat you can have the salads, especially the Caesar.  It is possibly as good as the steaks in quality and seasoning. Furthermore, the Grill's bread is fantastic.  It comes with not only good butter but aromatic roasted red peppers. You can top everything off with scrumptious desserts including the double layer chocolate cake or the strawberry shortcake. The fact is, if you want to go to a great steakhouse, there are any number in the city. But in terms of elegance and a fine dining atmosphere, look no further than this venue.
