"About as authentic an izakaya as you'll find on the eastside but with a fusion twist. Fast and reliable service here, with a fantastic tater tot with truffle sauce dish that is simply hybrid high and low culture gastronomical genius and makes for an innovative and delicious take on the classic potato treats. Mini burgers that are enhanced with interesting flavors, beef with Ponzu sauce, and tuna on crispy rice are all great dishes to try out. Braised Meat and Potatoes is a beef short ribs dish enhanced with a soy sauce glaze, and is arguably the best thing on the menu. Salmon lemon roll and sushi dishes all good too. Your best bet is to come during happy hour which they also have on the weekends. The venue itself is small, so it might be wise to reserve a table before you arrive. The service is great, and the staff are young and beautiful. Good for a date night, but just as good for any other night."
