Umami Burger is the godfather of the new-wave gourmet burger movement in Los Angeles. This hip restaurant serves a burger that has many Angelenos crowning it the best burger in all of Los Angeles. Alongside a menu that features cheesy sides, you also get the truffle burger. The creamy truffle cheese is a delight, and there is a sweetness to the savory that is also a nice (rather than unpleasant) surprise. There are burgers of all kinds. The pork belly – as one example – is a tasty combo of pork and beef and features avocado and onion. For the romantics among you, the burgers are large enough to share despite their minimalist presentation.
