"The food here is as pleasing to the eye as it is on the belly. Taking pride in the appearance of the dishes isn’t the be all and end all of the chef’s ambitions as the food is delicious. Fusion features on the menu, with foie gras shabu shabu just one example among many. The hot pot stuff can be avoided if you don’t want to cook your own food. Plus, the fusion may be considered narrowly by stating that kaiseki and sushi are both served here: You won’t be dining on dishes with French names throughout the meal. Lobster is delightful. Let the beer or wine flow and chow down."
