A street in Santa Monica is one of the better ones to find if you’re looking for a shopping district in the Los Angeles area. Not quite as famous or glamorous as Rodeo Drive, this promenade boasts movie theaters and a farmers’ market as well as designer outlets. It’s a little less fussy than areas that would consider a farmers’ market as lowering the tone, but it’s all the more enhanced for it. As it’s a street, you’ll have little difficulty finding parking. Bookstores, computer shops and furniture outlets sit alongside designer retailers here. Given the cosmopolitan feel, you can find street performers here too.
