What do you think was your career turning point? |
| |
Before I started acting I was a model. I had graduated from Konkuk University with a degree related to horticulture before going to Hanyang University for acting. I think my turning point was when I was fashion modeling and I met the CEO of Star J Entertainment, Young Beom Jeong. I guess you can say that was when he “discovered” me and my career took off from there.

Since you were a fashion model, what are some of your favorite brands in clothing and accessories? |
| |
Well it all depends on the item or accessory but I would have to say that my essential wardrobe item is suits. My preferred suit is Zenga but the best shirt brand for me is Balenciaga. And to go with these items, I like shoes from John Lobb and Richard Mille watches. D&G jeans are my favorites for casual wear and my favorite bag accessory brand is Louis Vuitton. For accessories, I usually would not leave home without my iPhone and credit card. The iPhone is probably my most essential gadget.

What do you like about Privy and the promise it offers? |
| |
For someone like me who loves traveling the world, Privy is wonderful. Besides being an actor, I also consider myself an entrepreneur. I think Privy will prove to be a useful resource for my entrepreneurial endeavors.

Besides acting, what other projects are you passionate about? |
| |
When I am not acting I have a charitable passion project. I’ve been a public relations ambassador for Good Neighbor for four years. Good Neighbor is a humanitarian non-profit organization who focuses on the well-being of all people, especially children. It is on General Consultative Status with the UN and is also one of the largest NGOs in South Korea. We make trips to impoverished countries annually and help collaborate with the locals. So far, I’ve taken annual trips to Nepal, Bangladesh, Tanzania and Haiti to help in this project.

Do you have a home away from home? |
| |
Although I love vacationing in Japan, my top city in the world would probably have to be Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia. I usually spend my summers in Korea in Pyung-Chang so that is probably my closest home away from home.
