Joseph Vincent is an up-and-coming acoustic singer-songwriter whose sultry-smooth vocals match his Southern California upbringing. You may have seen his popular YouTube covers or heard him performing on national television. As a kid, Joseph’s ear for music extended to all genres, from hip-hop to pop to rock. Picking up his first guitar at the age of 15, Joseph started playing covers of two of his main musical influences: Jack Johnson and Jason Mraz.

His YouTube channel has received over 145,000 subscribers and over 28 million total views, and he has over half a million plays on his MySpace page. Joseph went on to enter Kababayan Superstar, a contest produced by Southern California’s local Filipino news station Kababayan LA-18, and took the top prize. His LA gigs have included venues such as The House of Blues, The Knitting Factory, El Rey Theatre, The Roxy Theatre, and The Troubadour, but also includes smaller and more intimate venues and local coffee-shops. Proud of his Filipino heritage, Joseph performed at the 17th Annual Festival of Philippine Arts and Culture in August of 2008, playing his MUSIC for the thousands of ears in attendance. In the summer of 2009, Joseph traveled to the Philippines and played his first show overseas at My Brother’s Mustache, a folk bar in Quezon City.

William Wang, founder and CEO of VIZIO, Inc., was born in Taiwan and moved to the US with his family at age 12. In 1986 he graduated from USC with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and took a tech support role in a rapidly expanding computer monitor company. At the time, the PC business was growing exponentially and William quickly rose to the head of marketing and sales. Confident that he could build a better monitor, he left to start MAG Innovision and later, Princeton Graphic Systems. These companies became successful by introducing many industry firsts in the CRT (cathode-ray tube) and later LCD (liquid crystal display) monitor business, but became so saddled with operations and cash-flow problems that William decided to sell both companies.

With ‘Hallyu’ or better known as the ‘Korean Wave’ becoming a significant factor in Asia’s entertainment market, six major agencies, which include KEYEAST, AM Entertainment, Star J Entertainment, SM Entertainment, YG Entertainment, and JYP Entertainment, were brought together by Young Beom Jeong to form UAM with the goal of supporting their artists to enter the global entertainment market. UAM is a super-agency that helps to push forward the careers of Korean artists to advance overseas while at the same time, seeks talented artists from other Asian countries to work in Korea. Most of the talent managed by the six agencies and members of UAM have successfully become a significant force in the Asian market and include popular artists such as AM Entertainment’s Jang Dong Kun; KEYEAST’s Bae Yong Joon, Kim Hyeon Jung, Choi Kang Hee, E Ji-ah; SM Entertainment’s TVXQ, Girls’ Generation, Super Junior; YG Entertainment’s Big Bang, 2NE1, Se7en and JYP Entertainment’s Rain, Wonder Girls and 2PM.

Lee Jung Jin started out his career as a fashion model, first debuting with Modeline in 1997 before being discovered by Star J Entertainment CEO, Young Beom Jeong. Lee Jung Jin had to put his acting career on hold for a short period as he completed his mandatory conscription with the South Korean military. After his service, he quickly got back into acting and has been gaining popularity ever since. He has starred in both movies and popular television dramas such as "Love Story in Harvard."

After graduating with an MBA at the prestigious Clark University in Massachusetts, Dong Chul Bae returned to Korea and was commissioned into the Korean military where he served as a liaison between Korean and U.S. Forces. It was during this period, with a strong interest in the roles of win-win situations, Dong Chul Bae reestablished his goal as a consultant. After the military, he worked various industries ranging from consulting to the tourists and leisure markets and even establishing a design firm. While working in these diverse fields, he had always kept his desire to lead the markets while foreseeing changes in society and business infrastructure.

With an eye for the future, he is the author of “2020 Wealth War in Asia,” an informative book that forecasts Asia and the world marketplace in the coming decade. His intuitive foresight earned him a nomination by Japan Times as one of the Top 100 Next-Era CEOs. With business demands booming, Dong Chul Bae shuttles back and forth between Japan and Korea frequently and rarely stops to catch a breath.

The music group Aziatix has exploded onto the global scene with a list of impressive accolades. Having their first American live showcase debuting in New York, the group is poised to storm onto the US music scene. Comprising of three talented members, Eddie Shin, Flowsik and Nicky Lee, each with their own varying levels of experience and success in the industry, they write and produce their own songs and are very familiar with the music business.

Upon the start of their YouTube channel, Aziatix became the #1 most subscribed to Musician channel during its initial launch with over 8,500 subscribers. The group has also been featured on CNNGO, Ballerstatus and HipHopDX as well as peaking at #1 on Blastro R&B and pop charts. Brought together by veteran multi platinum music producer Jae Chong, Aziatix has had over 20 international articles, media and press interviews within a month of their debut. In less than 100 days of launching their facebook page, the group attained almost 16,000 "Likes" with a true international fan base. There are currently over 10 official facebook fan pages encompassing Chile, Australia, Singapore Japan and Korea as well as many more.

Dr. Roderick Tung is a board-certified Cardiologist and a specialist in heart rhythm disorders. He is on the faculty at UCLA Medical Center as an Assistant Professor of Medicine. Always having a penchant for fashion, he decided to develop a fashion hobby by launching his first collection of men’s dress shirts in 2009, TUNG, debuting in two boutiques in West Hollywood. His shirts are manufactured in Northern Italy and the brand is based on quality, luxury, and exclusivity for the fashion forward man who appreciates details, boldness, and distinction. Unique features of the shirt include the incredible precision of the fitted cut, structured collar, cuff detailing, and luxury two-ply 100’s Egyptian cotton. The second collection was picked up by nationwide boutique SCOOP NYC and the 2011 Autumn-Winter collection is expected to be carried at Neiman Marcus. The brand is quickly gaining momentum, appearing in boutique shops in the major fashion markets including Miami, NYC, Beverly Hills, and more. What started as a hobby has quickly transformed into a burgeoning second career.

After nine years in graphic design as the co-founder and Creative Director of a multi-million dollar Internet company, Grace Sun traded in e-mail threads for actual threads in pursuing a whole new career in fashion. Grace decided to forgo her years studying graphic design at the University of Michigan and the company she founded at age 24 to pursue a more creative profession. Grace then enrolled in the Parsons School of Design and studied at the most prestigious fashion schools. She then joined design teams under the tutelage of Phillip Lim and Rachel Roy. Grace began from the ground up to produce her first collection in the Spring of 2007 to complete a risky but ultimately fruitful career transition.

Today, Grace Sun Designs is one of the more well-received fashion lines in the industry with Grace focusing on a design aesthetic that embodies sophistication and creativity while embracing femininity and confidence. Grace’s collections thrive by combining her love of fashion with her talent in graphic design and is part of what has made Grace Sun a household name in fashion.

We sat down with Grace to discuss her career path, fashion, life as a mother and designer, plus much more.

But, even with her success, Lina remains philanthropic and influential, doing everything she can to get the word out to support her education reform foundation “Right to Succeed.” She is the Co-Founder of The Right to Succeed Foundation - a non profit organization that provides the tools and resources for education reform, leadership, and mentorship for every child to succeed. Their mission is to help each community cut their drop out rate in half over the next 5 years by creating and transforming 30,000 schools across the country.

Lina So is also a Host and Entertainment Entrepreneur, and has had the opportunity to witness the struggles and devastating circumstances of children through her travels. With her diverse background she has a versatile network that is valuable in connecting education and media to raise awareness. Her purpose is to mobilize and provide the leadership tools to push the youth to reach their full potential. She believes this platform can make a difference to change the future of the nation by investing in the next generation through leadership, mentorship, and education reform. Her entrepreneurial spirit, as business owner and consultant, has given her influence in the community, entertainment, and philanthropy. Lina is a member of the National Association of Women MBA, Screen Actors Guild, Asian American Journalist Association, International Lions Club and actively participates in the Revlon Walk, Reading to Kids, and Working Wardrobes.
