Dancing, décor and different chic is what you will find at 1 Oak NYC, and they have my eternal gratitude for the smoking area. This club doles out $18 mixed drinks, but give them a break, they have to pay for that expansive, raw oak flanked space and expensive sound system. The VIP area is set apart and features a central fireplace (roaring fire included) and a giant Roy Nachumm nude. It is a great location to find champagne swilling chic celebs who are sartorial enough to dance to their own music. Love it or leave it, but believe it, 1 Oak rocks.
