21 Club embodies the essence of classic New York City and it is here where you can have a taste of old New York glamor at its best. The signature drink is a "Southside", invented at 21 Club and this bar has been pouring manhattans since the days of prohibition. It is a graceful townhouse setting with a Club Room complete with humidor, and a Wine Cellar tasting menu; but the famous 21 Burger (Slider) has also been on the menu, and just as expensive as the Boulud burger for years. Another claim to fame is that it houses private wine collections and behind a five ton door with a secret lock, the private wine stock of President Richard Nixon can be viewed. The décor is classic "club" in oak panels and tan leather only to be juxtaposed in the Bar Room old toy airplanes and cars are strung from the ceiling to chronicle passing years.
