Above Allen is the hot-spot sister rooftop bar of A60, its draw-card is definitely location and locals believe it is the best place to throw a party as the service is so good. Find it on the 7th floor of the Thompson LES, but still with panoramic views, glass walls and a retractable roof. This is a snug spot with room for 100 and is supposedly hotels guests or members only. In the warm summer months Above Allen is a plant filled oasis for city dwellers, complete with wading pool, dance space, a good vibe and waitress served banquettes. Plus, non-members don't have that difficult a time getting in and it's worth the hassle to try.
