Angels Share does more than just share with the angels it also share space with Village Yokocho. It is not a familiar NY trend to find an elegant drinks parlor with no-standing room hidden away in a Japanese restaurant. They are draconian about the no-standing room policy and parties are seated in groups of four or less. Although a customer allegedly peed on a waiter recently, don't let this put you off, the view through the picture window is picture perfect, especially during a snow storm. Drinks such as sake and wasabi-infused vodka and yuzu pepper and soy sauce infused vodka are the order of the day. Chef Lan also provides small plates to soak up the surfeit of alcohol.
