The Marquee is a Gastrolounge – “cuisine with a scene” as described by Noah Tepperberg and therefore could be the home of the glamburger. It is a swank outfit and one of the more chi-chi Chelsea, NYC hot spots. This new lounge is worth all the drama and waiting it takes to get by the doorman. If you pass muster to get inside, you will invariably boogie the night away with plain-clothes models and other beautiful people rippling their way through the slick décor. The music is hip – trendy techno re-mixes, and this two-story space is a hangout for top-shelf models, and men with Black Amex Cards. Make sure you bring yours along to Marquee if you want to get attention – credit cards are accepted.
