Veritas was the daughter of Saturn, the mother of virtue and the goddess of truth in Roman Mythology – Veritas means truth and having a good time with food and wine. This restaurant and wine bar is neither stuffy, nor overbearing and will impress without being pretentious. The wine list belongs to the original wine-geek club; when the owners realized they had 3 000 bottles and weren't able to take it with them. Grégory Pugin makes an excellent club-house chef and he belts out brilliant French dishes which are dependably wine friendly. The sommelier is immensely knowledgeable and will make wine suggestions matching your meal in various price ranges. Décor and ambiance is modern, tasteful, amiable, comfortable and decidedly serene.
