It takes some work to get a reservation to the popular ABC Kitchen in New York and that's for good reason. The restaurant itself is housed in an incredible space complete with beautiful lighting, a assembly of country chic furniture and pieces to create a realm of comfort and luxury within the Flatiron/Union Square area of NYC. But, people come to ABC Kitchen to revel in the food and the chef never disappoints. ABC Kitchen primarily engages in the "California-style" cuisine and that means dishes that are fresh, seasonal, and delicious. The portabello mushroom sandwich is fantastic as are several of the menu items but you'll want to save room for desserts. The warm donuts served with chocolate or salted caramel ice cream is worth the trip alone.
