Aliada Restaurant is located in Astoria and is simply one of the best Greek/Mediterranean restaurants in NYC. The servings are huge so don't be shocked to find yourself having leftovers. The gyro plate comes with enough food to feed a small nation. It even comes with a massive Greek green sald, rice, and the choice of lemon potatoes, french fries or grilled fresh asparagus. You also have to try the lamb as it is tender and scrumptious. The entire staff is friendly and welcoming and don't be surprised to find yourself getting complimentary pita bread or desserts!
