Privy 5 Overview
It has been said that the best thing that happened at Alto was Michael White and the changes made seem to be working well. The rather strident reds in the old décor have been toned down somewhat with a pleasing green and oatmeal scheme now in evidence. The food, however, remains heavenly with old standards such as the seared scallops with marcona almonds, the veal chop and pancetta and criminally decadent desert delights such as the nougat gelato which is so good there must be a law against serving it.
