Babbo, oh Babbo. Where do we start! This little piece of heaven in the Village is worth anything, and I mean anything it takes to get there. The tasting menu with wine pairing on its own is the closest to heaven on earth. Babbo's service is excellent but not intrusive, the food is simply outstanding and the ambiance light and unpretentious. Among Babbo's excellent offerings are a braised oxtail gnocchi which is big enough for two, Duck breast with pancetta and a fantastic maple and mascarpone cheesecake to round off a memorable meal. If you haven't had the Babbo experience you need to!
