Privy 5 Overview
Balthazar was recently graced with a visit from Katie Holmes, spending quality mother-daughter time with Suri. If you happen to be inside Balthazar and the shutters are unexpectedly pulled down to keep out prying paparazzi, you are probably in company with a celebrity or two. Balthazar is Keith McNally's masterpiece. Remember the last time you strolled the Boulevard St-Germain? This brasserie fare will evoke those memories yet again. The one big problem remains that every New York citizen who happens not to be in Paris, wants to eat there, so reservations are a pre-requisite. Try for a Friday which is the only day bouillabaisse is served, but you could also grab something from the bakery and make do with a stroll along the Hudson to remind you of the Seine.
