Privy 5 Overview

Share |

This sushi hot spot is a critics pick and the latest offering from Eric and Bruce Bromberg – brother restaurateurs. It has a clubby intimate feel, and is a teak paneled, warmly lit room off the lobby of the theatre districts', Thompson Hotels’ 6 Columbus. They offer skillfully spiced sashimi, a choice of superlatively fresh sushi with a hamachi tataki which stands out from the crowd. This windowless dining room has an intimate feel and if blue crab rolls spiced with shiso is not on the top ten lists of your favorite dishes then there are some modified meals from the Blue Ribbon Brasserie on the menu. However, its claim to fame is definitely the raw bar, sea urchin and giant abalone.
