Unassuming as it is, Cong Ly may be referred to as a "joint", some might say borderline ghetto, but they have nearly 100 items on the menu. They swiftly serve up six different types of pork and other pho, meat and rice dishes, spring rolls, soups and congee to workers from nearby and visitors too. Fans of this fragrant beef broth will find it shines at Cong Ly. This is the Vietnamese signature soup and the Xe lua pho may be one of the best you ever sample outside of Vietnam – perfect for all soup situations, from drowning sorrows to sucking up good health itself. As an aside, the proprietor is a truly appealing character and the hunt for pho-fix fiends ends here. The summer rolls are very good too, and end your meal with the traditional iced coffee.
