Del Posto is one of those establishments that seldom get mauled in reviews and even when somebody does have a gripe it always seems to be tinged with grudging respect. Del Posto's outstanding food also represents good value for money considering the sheer quality. The lunch prix-fixe is outstanding and consists of an amuse-bouche which includes risotto balls and mortadella in delectable pastry among others, petit fours consisting of candied grapefruit, chocolate lollipops with a killer olive oil gelato and absolutely beautiful Bomboloni with vanilla orange cream. Then there is the bread basket which at Del Posto, even the bread is delicious.
