The name, which is emblazoned above the door in what appears to be mile high signage, stems from a mysterious papaya cocktail they serve that they claim does wonders for your health...so it's a health food shop after all! Judging by the lines outside, these are cheap, but juicy and tasty wieners and fans are inhaling them in. Dogs on the go can be the staple food source for many a midnight snacker, and Gray's Papaya are king of the heap, with or without the onions, sauerkraut and mustard.
