Privy 5 New York Kim Phan
Designer, Founder of Yumi Kim
Ever the budding fashionista, as a child Kim Phan was designing dresses and revamping vintage clothes while all her friends were still playing dress up. Her passion for fashion and design was steadfast and propelled her into a life of creative expression. Shortly after moving to New York City, she launched a contemporary namesake clothing line, Yumi Kim. The brand is inspired by Phan’s personal aesthetic; vintage prints and silhouettes, with a touch of funk and urban femininity. In the Fall of 2008, Kim Phan opened her first flagship store in New York’s Lower Eastside which was a near replica of Phan’s closet down to the medley of vintage dresses, boots, jackets and accessories mixed with well edited home gifts and the entire Yumi Kim collection. Yumi Kim can be found on Hollywood starlets and stylish girls worldwide and can also be found in premium boutiques and department stores worldwide.

72 Hudson Ave (between Front and Water Sts) Brooklyn NY 11201(718) 522-1018Vinegar Hill House is a cozy and comfortable restaurant in New York. What separates Vinegar Hill House from other restaurants is that they are able to take simple concepts and execute them extremely well. Both the chicken and the pork are incredible.
