Mamoun's Falafel on St. Marks place is one of the best cheap street eats spots in NYC. The falafel is exploding with flavour – moist on the inside, crunchy and golden on the outside, the pita is fresh and they offer an extensive range of Middle Eastern food. With a hot sauce that rocks, this is as good as it gets outside of Gaza. Take the hummus, tzatziki and the hot sauce, and remember when you ask for spicy, delicious is what you get – a real sweet deal, you will never feel the same about falafel again after you've had Mamoun's Falafel.
