Moim – Korean for "gathering" has a modern take on traditional Korean meals – mined for ideas by chef owner Saeri Uyoo Park. Most of the menu selections are not what you will find in K-town, but she manages to mix past and present in both the décor and food presentation. This is a more contemporary dining experience with dishes such as kimchee stir-fry with pork and tofu and steak tartare with pine nuts and Asian pear. Korean foodie stalwarts will still find their favorite bulgogi, dolsot, bibimbap however, and Moim also makes a mean pork bun. Modern? Yes – and reflecting up-to-date trends in fine Korean dining.
