This restaurant has reputation for seafood and they must be doing something right to bring out Chef David Bouley, regularly. The dining room is raucous and the seafood is plucked fresh from the tanks - these are not only for décor! Black bean clams, sweet and tender lobster with XO sauce and plumply sizzling oysters with shitake and scallion, may look grey and unsavory, but they are far from it. These dishes sparkle and shine more than at any other Chinatown restaurant, as do the postprandial late-night, fried dumplings.
