Sam Won Gak is also considered by fans of Korean food to be the best in NYC, and in fact the whole of the East Coast. The ma-po tofu is tender and smooth if you want to eat without meat and the seafood spicy noodle broth - jjam bbong, is nothing short of phenomenal; consistently good, fast and polite, but not haute couture.
