Privy 5 Overview

Udon noodles and buckwheat soba are enjoyed hot and cold in Japan for both flavor and nutritional value. Soba-Ya brings udon noodles with shrimp and vegetable tempura (Nabeyaki) to the NYC East Village and with this, a venerable tradition. The menu is impressive, as is the choice of regional sake and friendly wait-staff will help you with choice. Authentic Japanese standards complete the menu with very little respect for westernized tastes. It is filled to the hilt with young Japanese trend setters. Sietsema - marinated raw baby squid, chicken curry udon and ice cream flavored unusually with, honey wasabi and black sesame may come as a scrumptious surprise.
