This Astoria-Queens Greek Taverna specializes in seafood, there are no surprises here. Its business is brisk and it tops most local lists. The lightly broiled scallops with crisply fried potato rounds are worthy of an Astorian adventure. Owner/chef Adrian Skenderi is known as "the Giant" he is six foot six, and an expert with fish. The dining room is tightly packed with tables, chairs and families, so be prepared for a wait at dinner. In warmer weather, open-air dining on the patio is possible. Start with the dip antipasto: zesty taramasalata, skordalia or tzatziki and pita, and end with galaktoboureko custard which is on the house.
