Privy 5 Overview
Being the American Museum of Natural History - this NYC attraction, is a genuine, not-to-be-missed attraction. Situated in Central Park West, they offer ongoing and new special exhibits such as "Cosmic Collisions" and the glassy Rose Center for Earth and Space. It covers four city blocks and features everyone's favorite - a record setting collection of dinosaurs, fossils, aquatic life, anthropology, meteorites, live frog and butterfly displays spanning the multiple floors of this gigantic museum. Visit the creepy dioramas and taxidermy rooms courtesy of Teddy Roosevelt's African Safari's and Harry Houdini's stuffed gray parrot and then mosey on over to the displays of artifacts from cultures around the globe. An American Museum of Natural History would not be complete without the requisite dinosaur exhibit and AMNH has one of the best. Most people will recognize the American Museum of Natural History as the site featured in the movie "Night at the Museum" and that sense of wonder is what you'll get when you visit here.
