Greenwich Hotel is a luxury boutique hotel famous partly because it was co-founded by Robert De Niro. It is situated close to his Tribeca Film Center and Tribeca Grill pet projects and was opened in 2008. The façade is sign-less and was fashioned to blend in with its surroundings. It features 88 rooms, each of which are unique and feature homey accents, which makes it a true boutique hotel. The suites are stunning and there are 13 of these which offer stunningly clear views of the Hudson. Guest rooms feature Swedish DUX beds, mini bars with free snacks and other jaw-dropping features too, such as the use of reclaimed wood. The biggest surprise is the basement fitness centre and Shibui spa, but the Greenwich Hotel has to be seen to be believed.
