The hip yet incredibly friendly and helpful bartenders help get your evening at Macao Trading Co. off right with their popular “Dr. Funk’s” cocktail that is bittersweet syrup goodness. The restaurant is modeled after an authentic European trading outpost the likes of which existed in Macau’s storied history. Once in this restaurant, you’ll find a theme of a pirate shanty that would eventually serve to make Macau one of the gambling capitols of the world. Ironically, the venue exudes a class atmosphere and scrumptious Asian fusion dishes. You’ll want to try their mushroom truffle croquettes and Portuguese meatballs. Overall, MTC is a wonderful place for a date or a group of friends for a dimly lit and exciting time. Their cocktail menu is extensive and the food will amaze you.
