The Alembic is an excellent bar plus dining concept in Haight. The menu is interesting, unique, exciting and well planned. Plus, the service is amazing. The staff is knowledgeable to the point they know the menu back and forth. Service is attentive and caters to your needs and ensures you are enjoying your time. At The Alembic, the staff is as passionate as the owner and this makes for a great experience. Some highlights of the menu at The Alembic include wagyu beef tongue sliders and the bone marrow which is incredibly delicious. The cuisine is interesting and prepared very well. However, The Alembic is still a bar first and this means their list of cocktails and drinks is impressive. Their “Old-Fashioned” is on the 7x7 SF list of the Top 100 Things to Eat Before You Die. That said, the selection of drinks at The Alembic will not disappoint and makes The Alembic one of the best places to go in SF for a drink.
