Frances is hands down and easily one of the best restaurants in San Francisco. Voted Best Newcomer of 2010 by the James Beard Foundation and highly regarded to the point of being awarded a Michelin star, Frances is one dining experience you cannot afford to miss. Everything on the menu from their mouthwatering and delicious applewood bacon beignets, dungeness crab salad and pan roasted duck with sausage will have you falling love. Each dish is prepared and executed to perfection with the crab salad feature generous portions of only the freshest crab meat. The exquisitely cooked duck is filled with flavor from the decadently crispy skin to the savory meat. You won't want to miss their White Corn Soup w/ Sweet Red Onion, Dill & Creme Fraiche either as it will easily be one of the best soups you've ever had. For dessert, try the chocolate mousse for the best mousse in town. Frances is simply a can't miss restaurant if you're in San Francisco.
