Privy 5 Overview

Share |

Lahore Kahrahi got its name from two sources. The name Lahore refers to the second largest city of Pakistan. It’s also known as Garden of the Mughals, City of Gardens, and Heart of Pakistan. On the other hand, the word Kahrahi or Karai is a deep vessel similar to a wok which is used for cooking specifically in deep frying and stewing. This restaurant is the brainchild of Zulfiqar "Guddu" Haider who is owner, chef, and waiter rolled into one when he first opened the restaurant way back in 2003. Unlike with other restaurants, at Lahore Kahrahi don’t have specials. Instead, every dish is served fresh and from scratch. Aside from the delicious menus, this restaurant has a relaxing ambiance perfect for busy individuals. So don’t be surprised to find so many people patronizing this restaurant since it’s surely one of the best Indian restaurants around.
