Ristorante Milano is as authentic as one can get outside of Milan, Italy. Everything from the pasta to the wine is fantastic. Each pasta dish is done to perfection and highly flavorful. The wine list is expansive and includes a good selection of wines that go well with the food. However, no trip to Ristorante Milano is complete without trying the pera cotta en marsala, which is pear poached in caramelized sugar syrup and marsala wine and is just flat out amazing. With prompt and friendly service, this cozy restaurant is a slice of modern and traditional Italy in SF.
