Com Binh Dan restaurant in Shinseol-dong serves genuine Vietnamese dishes and great Pho. The store owner is a Korean guy married to Vietnamese lady who truly knows her country’s traditional dishes. The name of the restaurant translates to “Rice for the commoners” which reflects the items on the menu that represent common everyday food. Apart from Vietnamese patrons, the quaint restaurant has a good number of followers of expats from around the globe since word of the delicious dishes being served here has spread around. The Com Binh Dan menu has photos of each dish so it is convenient for foreigners to order. The Pho has silky soft noodles and full of wonderful flavors, with plenty of cilantro too.  The goi salads are refreshing containing fresh shrimp and veggies. The bo kho banh has tender slices of beef with crispy bread is also superb. They serve generous portions of the flavorful dishes too. The seafood pho surprisingly has fresh seafood and not the usual supermarket crab sticks hence the broth just comes alive with flavors of the cilantro, mussels and crab. Com Binh Dan Vietnamese restaurant is open from 8 AM until 9 PM. Enjoy authentic Vietnamese cuisine and probably end up buying the food products and ingredients they have for sale.
