Privy 5 Overview
The famous Dear Chocolate Café is one of the first cafes for Chocoholics in Korea. Even the exterior is a treat to look at looking like a huge red chocolate box with a matching bow on top. The first Dear chocolate Café is a stone throw away from Gyeongbok Palace and they have put up other chocolate box shaped shops in Apgujeong-dong, Naksan Beach and Jongno which is near Changdeok Palace. The café near Gyeongbok Palace specializes in all kinds of gourmet chocolates and it is the perfect place to spend afternoon tea as they also serve Italian dishes and chocolate blended refreshments or choose from their selection of wines. The interior sets a very relaxing mood with dim lights across mirrored walls, wooden floors and white colored tables and chairs. If you are in for a quick bite then try the rucola tomato pizza or a garden salad. If you want a more filling dish then go for the sumptuous clam spaghetti with scallops sprinkled with rucola leaves, the ravioli with king cram and meat filling, or order a steak. To end the perfect tea time snack, have a cup of the hot chocolate drink that comes with a piece of dark chocolate to satisfy your sweet cravings. If you are like most chocoholics then be sure to order a box or two of the little hand made organic chocolate sweets to take home and enjoy later on in the day.
